David Marsten, LCSW
David Marsten, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Clinical Director

David received his BA in psychology from UC Berkeley and his MSW from UCLA. He became intrigued with Narrative Therapy in 1991 while training at the Mental Research Institute in Palo Alto, CA. He developed one of the first Narrative training programs in Los Angeles at Jewish Family Service in 1992 and went on, in 1999, to establish a Narrative training and counseling center, Miracle Mile Community Practice, www.mmcpla.org. He has taught at the graduate level for many years, the last 14 of which in Pepperdine University’s Narrative Training Clinic. He is a faculty member of the Vancouver School for Narrative Therapy and teaches internationally for Dulwich Centre. He has co-authored several articles, 3 chapters in edited collections, and the book: Narrative Therapy in Wonderland: Connecting with Children’s Imaginative Know-How.

Debi Kitay, LMFT

Operations Director, Clinical Supervisor, Intake Coordinator
Debi is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist who received her BA from Antioch University, Los Angeles with a major in psychology and a minor in child studies.  She also received her MA in clinical psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Debi has been with Miracle Mile Community Practice since 2014.  She currently serves as the Director of Operations, a Clinical Supervisor, and one of the Intake Coordinators. Previously, Debi was the Associate Clinical Director/Senior therapist at Evo Health and Wellness.  Evo is an outpatient addiction treatment program that focuses on the root causes of addiction-rather than just the substance use.  Prior to Evo, Debi worked at Alternatives, an outpatient non 12-step addiction treatment center in Beverly Hills where she met with clients in group sessions.  Debi also works in private practice in Los Angeles and El Segundo.

Jennie received her BA in studio art from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her MA in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. Jennie has worked with adults, children, and families of diverse backgrounds in a variety of mental health settings. She is committed to collaborative counseling practices that work in support of helping others pursue their preferred ways of living when faced with life’s challenges.

Chris is a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice with offices in El Segundo/South Bay and the Fairfax/Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles. Chris has more than ten years of experience working with a diverse population of people covering a wide range of problems. In particular, Chris has a special interest in, and an affinity for, anyone struggling with anger, couples negotiating conflict and mistrust, and anyone captured by the idea that they are failures in life.
